“I Stayed at My Friend’s Old Apartment… Then These Strange Bumps Appeared  What They Really Are Will Shock You

It started like a normal visit.

I had agreed to stay at my friend’s apartment for a few days while I was between places. It was an older building—quiet hallways, creaky floors, and that faint smell of aged wood and dust that never quite goes away. Nothing about it seemed dangerous or unusual at first glance.

My friend, Alex Turner, warned me jokingly that the place was “a little old but harmless.” I didn’t think much of it. I’ve stayed in older buildings before, and I figured it would just be a few nights of sleep, work, and moving on.

The first night was uneventful.

The second night, I started noticing small things.

At first, it was just discomfort—slight itching on my arms and legs. I assumed it was dryness or maybe the laundry detergent on the sheets. I didn’t pay much attention. But by the third day, things had changed.

I began to notice small, raised bumps on my skin.

Not painful. But unusual enough to make me pause.

They were clustered in a few areas—arms, neck, and lower legs. At first glance, I thought maybe it was an allergic reaction. I changed my soap, washed my clothes again, and tried to ignore it.

But the bumps didn’t go away.

In fact, they became more noticeable after each night I spent in the apartment.

That’s when I started feeling uneasy.

I mentioned it to Alex casually, and he shrugged it off. “Probably just stress or something in the air,” he said. “This place is old. Weird things happen sometimes.”

But something about his tone made me more alert, not less.

That night, I couldn’t sleep. I kept noticing faint movement near the edges of the mattress, like something shifting when I wasn’t directly looking.

By morning, I had made a decision.

I stripped the bedding completely and inspected everything carefully.

That’s when I noticed something I hadn’t seen before.

Tiny dark specks embedded along the seams of the mattress.

At first, I thought it was dirt or old fabric wear. But when I looked closer under better lighting, the realization hit me—these weren’t just stains.

They were signs of something living there.

I immediately stepped back and checked my phone, searching for possible causes. Everything I found pointed in one direction: an infestation that can often go unnoticed until physical symptoms appear.
